It’s also helping to fix an undersupply of quality retirement living options for Gold Coast residents,” he said.Dr Robinson said more than 17,000 people aged over 65 were living within five kilometres of Burleigh Golf Club but there were fewer than 300 retirement dwellings in the area.“As an infill development, The Verge is a great option for retirees in the Burleigh region wanting to stay close to their family and support networks as they age,” he said. The Verge is a great option for retirees wanting to stay close to their family and support networks. The location also offers an idyllic spot for early morning strolls, and a great opportunity to live with people at a similar life stage.’’The Verge at Burleigh GC offers residents a chance to live in an idyllic setting alongside people in a similar life stage. Paris: Nicolas Pepe came off the bench to rescue Arsenal at home against Vitoria Guimaraes with two late free kicks in the Europa League on Thursday. Arsenal came from behind to win 3-2 and stay perfect in Group F. They are one of only two teams on nine points from three games, along with Sevilla, who beat Dudelange of Luxembourg 3-0 in Group A. Manchester United are one of the teams on seven points and need just one more win to ensure they qualify from Group L after eking out a 1-0 win against Partizan on an emotional day in Belgrade. Celtic came from a goal down to beat Lazio 2-1 in Glasgow and remain top of Group E. PSV Eindhoven were held 0-0 at home by Linz but still lead Group D Rangers drew 1-1 in Porto in Group G while Wolves beat Slovan 2-1 in Bratislava in Group K and both are in contention. At the Emirates, Arsenal made 10 changes from the team that lost at Sheffield United on Monday in the Premier League. For much of the match, they looked even worse. Arsenal dominated possession but were outshot 14-11. They made the worst possible start, falling behind after nine minutes to a goal by a former Tottenham player. In the ninth minute, Marcus Edwards, once compared by Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino to a young Lionel Messi, fired a shot under Emiliano Martinez.Brazilian teenager Gabriel Martinelli replied with a header but Vitoria regained the lead before half time with a goal from Bruno Duarte. With Arsenal’s young strikers struggling, Pepe, who had not yet scored a goal from open play for the Gunners, came on in the 64th minute. After 80 minutes he curled a free kick inside the far post. He repeated the trick three minutes into added time to secure the victory. “It’s important for Pepe,” said Arsenal manager Unai Emery of his big summer signing. “He can gain confidence from tonight. When he scores it’s good for him and the team.” Seven Manchester United players were among the 23 who died in the Munich plane crash in 1958 and United played in Belgrade once since then, when they lost a European Cup semi-final to Partizan in 1966. (Getty Images)In Belgrade, Manchester United held a ceremony to remember the ‘Busby Babes’, and then won away for the first time since March Anthony Martial scored the only goal with a penalty kick after 43 minutes, but the hosts had eight strikes on target to just three by United. The game marked the return to the ground where Matt Busby’s famous team of youngsters played their last game, a European Cup quarter-final against Red Star in February 1958. Their plane crashed in Munich on the way home and seven United players were among the 23 who died. United had only played in Belgrade once since then, when they lost a European Cup semi-final to Partizan in 1966. ‘Hostile environment’ On Thursday afternoon, United held a commemoration ceremony where former players Bryan Robson and Mickey Thomas laid a wreath on the pitch at the Partizan Stadium and vice-chairman Ed Woodward gave a speech. “As soon as the draw happened, our attention turned to wanting to remember those who lost their lives in 1958,” he said. “This was the last place, on this very ground, against Red Star Belgrade, when they played as a team together.”For the match, United made eight changes from the team that drew at home with Liverpool on Sunday. Teenagers Brandon Williams and James Garner came into the team. In the 43rd minute, Williams burst into the Partizan box and drew wild tackles from two home defenders. Martial rolled the penalty into the corner of the goal. “We expected a hostile environment but we got the win,” said United defender Phil Jones. “I thought Garner and Williams were outstanding.”Also Read | Manchester United Survive League Cup Scare, West Ham Knocked OutIn a game in Bratislava, played in an unusual atmosphere after Slovan side-stepped a stadium ban for racism by giving 21,000 tickets to children, Wolves fought back from a goal down to win 2-1. Andraz Sporar gave the home team an 11th minute lead. Romain Saiss levelled in the 58th minute with a low shot that bobbled through goalie Dominik Greif’s legs Six minutes later, Vernon DeMarco gave Raul Jimenez a shove in front of goal and the Wolves striker scored the winner from the resulting penalty. Mark Hughes says QPR’s Julio Cesar is among the best goalkeepers he has ever seen. The Rangers boss, a former Manchester United colleague of Peter Schmeichel and international team-mate of Everton legend Neville Southall, believes Cesar is as good as them both in their prime.“Over the years I had the pleasure of playing with the likes of Schmeichel and Southall, and he’s right up there,” Hughes said.“It’s not only his ability as a keeper. His mentality in the dressing room is huge for us and that’s a benefit we’ll tap into.“He understands what it takes and he drives people around him. He inspires people with his manner and his presence.“He’s on a par with the top keepers in the world in my view.”Follow West London Sport on TwitterFind us on Facebook

Share Facebook Twitter Google + LinkedIn Pinterest With harvest beginning across the country, the National Corn Growers Association reminds farmers that online harvest forms for the 2017 National Corn Yield Contest are available online for those who entered the contest. While the harvest information form deadline may seem distant, entrants are asked to report within two weeks of their final yield check or by Nov. 17, whichever comes first.“While harvest is only just kicking off for many, it is important to keep contest rules regarding harvest form submissions in mind. We ask contest applicants to submit harvest forms within two weeks of their final yield check to allow NCGA staff adequate time to thoroughly review each form,” said Brent Hostetler, Stewardship Action Team Chair. “The National Corn Yield Contest plays a significant role in recognizing excellence and finding new, more productive techniques. We hope that growers continue to support the contest by seeing their entry through and submitting their completed harvest data forms.”The online harvest form is available to both farmers and seed representatives using the same login process as the initial entry form. Login does require submission of the entrant’s NCGA membership number.NCGA moved to a solely online harvest entry documentation platform in 2015. To complete the form, entrants will upload weigh tickets and yield calculations worksheet that details the number of rows harvested and length of each pass. Prior to upload, both documents must be signed by the contest supervisor. This year a tutorial video is available online. For half of a century, NCGA’s National Corn Yield Contest has provided corn growers the opportunity to compete with their colleagues to grow the most corn per acre, helping feed and fuel the world. This has given participants not only the recognition they deserved, but the opportunity to learn from their peers.Winners receive national recognition in publications such as the NCYC Corn Yield Guide, as well as cash trips or other awards from participating sponsoring seed, chemical and crop protection companies. The winners will be honored during Commodity Classic 2018 in Anaheim, Calif. For access to contest information and a detailed list of the entry and harvest rules, click here.Click here for the 2017 National Corn Yield Contest Online Harvest Form.

I do not know how to express all this without revealing it too much. As a result, I would content with inviting the other players to come to discover this “box” and to see what it contains. A warm congratulations and thank you for this outstanding geocache.” – cukcelte“Wow!!! What a beauty, This must be the largest cache we are ever likely to see. Thanks for the welcome from Johnny Vegas. Nice to have met you. We will try and visit this cache again and bring more stuff.” – DaiGymWhat the geocache owner, Johnny-Vegas, has to say:“I wanted to be more involved with Geocaching so my mind started ticking over with ideas. It’s the way I am, quite imaginative and some say over imaginative! Our new home came with a 7.5 tonne DAF lorry parked up in the barn. It was registered in the UK and so very difficult to re-register it here in France. There is already plenty of storage and outbuildings so another “store room” was not really required.I decided to convert the lorry and it’s massive box on the back to be a cache container but I didn’t want it to just look like a half-hearted attempt. So decided to paint it a deep green colour just like an ammo box, I had vinyl lettering made to create a geocaching.com label in extra large letters. Camouflage netting was placed over the cab to “blend” it into the background and a camouflage interior design was created.I really wanted it to look and feel like a cache container and not the back of an old truck. With the cache being located within our grounds I get to meet other cachers and share their experiences which is wonderful. Reading their feedback tells me they are really happy with finding the cache (not hard to locate!) but also sharing their excitement with me, it really is great fun.”Photos:So, are they considered swag now?
