File photo. With only five days left to the World Cup qualifier clash against Ghana, Uganda’s football governing body has confirmed that the Uganda Cranes will play Madagascar in a practice game on Wednesday at the Star Times stadium in Lugogo. This comes after speculation that Uganda was not going to have a build up game before clashing with Ghana late this week which was a concern to the general football community due to fitness concerns regarding several players.“On Wednesday, Uganda will play a practice game against Madagascar at Lugogo,” FUFA media officer Ahmed Hussein confirmed.“This is not an official friendly so no points will be awarded to the winners but we (FUFA) thought it would be of great importance to the team as it will definitely boost their fitness ahead of the Ghana game on Saturday,” Hessein said.He said only those who will have purchased the Shs25,000 tickets before 5pm on Monday will be allowed to watch the game.It remains to be seen whether any professional players will take part but the players who played on Saturday against the Northern Regional select side will surely be available.Madagascar  national football team that will face the Uganda Cranes on Wednesday.
