Charleigh Bailey also won the award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in the film.Elsewhere, Ruth Negga won the award for Actress in a Lead Role while fellow Oscar nominee Consolata Boyle won the award for Costume Design for her work on Florence Foster Jenkins.Colm Meaney won the award for Actor in a Lead Role for his portrayal of the recently deceased Martin McGuinness in The Journey. In doing so, it beat competition from Game of Thrones and The Fall among others.In the TV acting awards, Cillian Murphy won the Best Actor award for his role in Peaky Blinders with Amy Huberman taking the Best Actress award for legal drama Striking Out. Mattress Mick was there to see the documentary about him win an award.
